Search by Case Number
Filings that will go before the Public Service Commission are assigned a
"case number." Some case numbers represent a single filing from a single company. Other
case numbers represent multiple filings, from several different companies. Case numbers
are often found in Commission documents and press releases. Their format is:
01-A-1234 (a two-digit year; one letter; four numbers).
More about case numbers
Case Number search results include all document statuses: effective, pending, and cancelled.
The following two items refer to the Department's "Document and Matter
Management" system.
- Case Title
- Commission Orders Issued in this Case (if any)
If the Public Service Commission has issued any Orders in this case,
this link will display a list of those documents.
When the list appears, you can click on the "Document Title" to view any of the Orders.
Each table row represents one tariff for one company
- Click a company name if you want to display just one row.
(For example, you might want to bookmark that specific company-and-PSC-number.)
- To display one specific document type, click the appropriate link in that row.
(leaves, statements, etc.). You will then see a complete list of those documents.
- Tariff leaves will be listed in ascending order by leaf number and revision number.
- All other document types (statements etc.) will be listed in
1. alphabetical order by type
2. each type's document number.
More about Tariff Leaves
- Links to Effective and Pending tariff PDF files will be near the top
of the page, immediately preceding the individual data. Each file may contain anywhere from
a few pages, to hundreds of pages.
- Cancelled leaf PDF files, however, have a link in the same row as their data.
Reason: cancelled leaves are not assembled into composite files. Each cancelled
leaf corresponds to a single one-page PDF file.
- The Submission Details link will display all documents that were part of that same filing.
More about Supplements, Statements, Addenda
- You will only see links for document types that exist for this company.
For example, if there aren't any supplements, that column will be blank.
- Each document is self-contained. When a document is superseded by the next
higher number, the entire document is replaced at once. Therefore, each row corresponds to
one document and one PDF file.
- The Submission Details link will display all documents that were part of that same filing.
